I had the pleasure of meeting my nephew, Declan James Milway, last
week. This picture was taken at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto. He
was being examined by a well manicured nurse. He is still ahead of
schedule by about a month and seems to be very healthy considering the
circumstances. He is going in for heart surgery this week which will
allow him to start putting on some weight. If you have any extra
thoughts and/or prayers this week Declan could use a few.

Shades of Blue
The Beach in Grand Bend. Reminds me of PEI except the water in Lake
Huron is fresher, warmer and filthy....oh and crowded.

Another Brick In the Wall
The final stop on my TRCT was the library to finally see the one thing
I hadn't anywhere in London. I spent 6 years in London and I didn't
see my own personal impact on the city or campus anywhere. Even the
bar where I carved my name into a table had been torn down years ago.
I had to go to the top floor of the stacks and look for a confusing
call number to find my impact. It was nice to see my thesis in print
and in "circulation". It was not so nice seeing how little it stood
out. The library had rows and rows of thesises that were all bound in
black with gold type on the spine. You couldn't really tell the
difference between the keeners and the students who just phoned it
in...thank goodness!

Ibuprofen For The Intellect
This is another shot from my triumphant return campus tour. This is
an arcitechtual blunt force trauma compared to yesterday's picture.
This is where all the students go to cram for their exams.
Imagination and Inspiration is obviously detrimental to getting good
marks. That is what I blame it on at least.

Inflaming the Intellect
During my triumphant return to my alma mater I got to see the nicest
classroom on the campus. I sat on in one course in first year in this
room. It was an incredibly fitting location for one of the most
inspiring classes I took. The door was locked so I had to take this
one through the window.

8-Bit Trip
Onterrible?
I just got back from my vacation in Grand Bend where I spent my time,
either on the beach or playing golf. Now I'm back at the grind stone
in PEI, the land of beaches and golf.

Reflecting on Family
Heading to Toronto today with my family to see my family and meet the
newest member of my family. Should be a familial time!

The Blues Are Still Blue
Saturday in London I snapped a few pictures on my walking tour. I
must say I do not miss Ontario's humidity. For the most part, London
has not changed at all which was both comforting and unsettling. It
was like visiting the set of Cheers. You take a picture of Norm's
stool but without the wise cracking drunks the whole place seems empty
and haunted...and not as funny.

Rocky Point
Who Love Lighthouses? This was out at rocky point where I was eaten
alive by mosquitos. I only took one picture and it turned out.

Big Brother and Mother Nature Team Up
This was a temporary security camera put up on a tree across the
street from me it was very odd looking. Not because of the placement
but because there is so little crime here that there are virtually no
security cameras anywhere. Its really easy to steal stuff here!

In With the Prim
This is the lighthouse at Point Prim on, you guessed it, PEI. I will
be In Ontario next week so maybe I will take some non-East Coast
picture...maybe.

The Board Walk
These lines were seen in Brackley in PEI. These blues were seen in April earlier this year.

Early Work
I think this was off my first "roll" of digital film. I must've
switched something on the camera because I don't think I have seen
colours like this in my pictures in a long time.
Island Life
I would have never guessed it but PEI is an excellent place for beach
lovers! No pressure but If you want to go on a beach vacation but
can't leave the country because you fear foreigners or because you are
a felon, you should definitely consider PEI.

Straightening Province House
They have been projecting a movie about PEI on to the Province house
all month. It gets a little annoying when they blast O Canada every
night. This was a month ago when they were setting up the
projectors. I thought it was some sort of a cool art project but no
they were just setting up a massive propaganda exhibition.
