Winter Activites

Now that spring is here, its time to clear out all my winter pictures. It was very cold and much easier to stay inside. Look out for some more lighthouse shots next week!

Blue and Green

Late April weather has left me yearning for early April weather. I have seen far too many snow flakes in the last week.
Here is a picture from earlier in the month. It took me a while but I successfully removed the power line from the top of this picture. It was well worth the effort.

Run Aground

Another shot from Point Prim. I used all my photo tricks to get the boat and the sky as close to properly exposed as possible. Have a good weekend

Windex Please

Whats better than peeling paint? Peeling paint and dirty windows! More shots from my Point Prim adventures. This was taken on the patio of a little chowder shack at the very end of the point. It was still closed for the winter but I'll be back for some chowder in a few months. I'm heading to Halifax this weekend so I might get some pictures of people or buildings less than 50 years old. Until then...enjoy!

Textures

I just have a few more shots from my Point Prim adventures. Rather than post six pictures of peeling paint over the next six days I thought I would group them together a little. Here are two pictures of peeling paint, far more interesting than drying paint. Click the pictures if you want to see larger versions.

Winter Be Gone!

Yesterday was a wonderfully sunny, springtime day. Brigid and I got out of the city which allowed me to get back to my passion project, taking photos of lighthouses. This one was at the end of Point Prim.

Lawn Ornaments

This past weekend I had the pleasure of hanging out with just about every relative I have. I, with the help of my father, composed this picture all by myself. Getting 30 chocolate and booze filled relatives into position makes herding cats look easy. I can't take all the credit because it was the family that looked in the right direction and smiled at the appropriate time. I am very happy with the result and am quite proud of myself for a job well done.

The Declan Drool

Its hard to be the centre of attention when my nephew, Declan, is in the house. Its also hard to keep a dry shirt when holding him.

Baby Blue

My cousin's daughter, Ellie was being herself this past weekend. She had the cute dialed up to 10 as there were two new babies at Easter this year. I hope to get some other Easter shots up here this week.
