Going Once

So I recently decided to go new car shopping and am going to pick up my new car this afternoon. I will obviously post pictures as soon as I can but right now I have to take care of some business. The old car has to go. It was my first car and got me all over the maritimes. Most importantly it got me to and from Halifax on several occasions. I learned to drive standard on this little guy and learned a lot about myself in the process. I've decided to put it on the open market. If you know anyone who lives in Charlottetown and is looking for a car to get them around the city this summer please direct them towards my kijiji ad. I'm offering a case of raspberry cordial as a commision if you get me a buyer. Thanks in advance!

Rock and Roll

I got a chance to attempt curling the other night and I must say that it is exactly as easy as I thought it would be. Where is the next olympics? Russia? Maybe I'll wait for a warmer climate to host.

It has been a busy week here. Brigid, my girlfriend, moved here from Halifax and we have spent most of the week setting up her apartment. It has been very exciting but consquently, I have not had a lot of time to take pictures. This one was taken during a snow day a few weeks ago. The weather was on the verge of spring-like but has reverted to winter-eque.

Baking Tips

This week my co-workers and I decided to have a bake-sale for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of PEI. I tried my hand at baking and have a few tips.
1. Its cheaper to buy.
2. Wax paper should not be put in the oven.
3. The cookies will expand so give them space to grow
4. Replace the battery in the smoke detecter after you finish
5. Charity has really bad profit margins. 75% of the proceeds are going to the cause. That mean for every dollar of goods we sell on $0.25 is gonna line our pockets.
